m1ndg4m3s VIEWING

The titular hunchback behind Hunchback Gallery @hunchbackgallery is gearing up for his solo show “M1ndG4m3s,” opening Thursday the 16th. Multimedia artist Travis Duda has been working on this exhibition for more than 4 years, processing the darkness, humor, and absurdity of his experiences and emotions through painting, sculpture, and collage, with found scraps, visual wordplay, graphic design, and stolen ideas. The 50+ pieces in “M1ndG4m3s” range in theme from love, loss, isolation, emotional growth, and love again, to political ire, depression and mental issues, and the challenges of having “original” ideas in a world tangled by intellectual property and copyrights laws.

The opening reception of “M1ndG4m3s” is Thursday the 16th from 6 to 9pm at Hunchback Gallery, located on the 2nd floor of 75 Webster Street. Look up “Hunchback Gallery” on Facebook or Instagram, or visit HunchbackGallery.com, for more.
