Rather than let winter gloom get us down, we’re embracing this season of minimal sunlight. The call for [Re]Frame the Dark challenged visual creators to find inspiration in the extended nighttime hours we get this time of year - and they did not disappoint! Through more than 40 original works, 20+ local artists explored a range of nighttime moods, from cozy and romantic to eerie and mysterious, grounded to celestial, organic to electric, and beyond.

Opening Reception: Thursday, January 15, 6-9pm. Mingle with artists and community over light refreshments. Come as you are, or let the show’s theme inspire your dress for the night! Free to attend, though donations to the Gallery are graciously accepted. 

Viewing Hours: January 16 - February 21, 2026. Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays 12-6pm. 

Closing + Pickup: Saturday, February 21, 2026. The Gallery will be open 12-6pm, with an informal closing from 12-3pm. Buyers may pick up purchases between 3-6pm, or by appointment the following week.

Hunchback Gallery is on the 2nd floor of 75 Webster Street, Worcester, MA, accessible by stairs or freight elevator. Free parking is available in the lot across the street.
